Teamsters Push Gateway Tunnel Project

On Friday, February 13, 2026, Teamsters Joint Council 73 President Alphonse Rispoli and Local 560 President Joseph DiPalma met Governor Mikie Sherrill at the Secaucus train station. They stressed how the Gateway Tunnel project means jobs for New Jersey Teamsters.

Joining them: Congresswoman Nellie Pou, and Congressman Robert Menendez Jr.

Governor Sherrill laid it out plain: “This is just the first step. I’m not stopping until we get every dollar we’re owed—and this project gets done.”
